上海に来て最初の年、どうしても『ワンピース』の続きを読みたくて、本屋さんを探しに行きました。中国の友人に紹介してもらい福州路という通りへ。
In my first year in shanghai, I relyy wanted to read more One piece.SO, I looked for a book store.my chinese friend tole me about street Fuzhou Road.
この通りに大きな本屋さん「上海書城」があります。
There is a big bookstore there. It is called Shanghai book city.
店内はとても広くて、料理本や子ども向けの本、語学、書道、漫画までジャンルごとに分かれていて、見ているだけで楽しいです。
The inside of the bookstore was very spacious,with sections dedicated to various genres such as cook,children,language,manga,caligraphy.
just browing through the sheleves was an enjoyble experience
なので、時々日本人が少ないとこに行きたいなーと思ったときは、ここで本を探して小籠包を食べたりコーヒーを飲んだりしていました。
Whenever I wanted to go to a place with fewer japanese people,I would visit this place to look for books, eate xiaolongbao then drik coffee.
例えば,はらぺこあおむしの日本の絵本や、村上春樹などの日本の本が中国語に翻訳された本もたくさんあります。
For example, there are many Japanese books that have been translated into Chinese, like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and novels by Haruki Murakami.
あまり、専門書には詳しくないのですが、デザインや建築などの本は日本で買うより安く手に入るそうで、知り合いもよくここで本を買っていました。
I’m not very familiar with academic books,but I’ve heard that books on design and architecuture are cheper here than in japan. some of my friends often bought books here.
このあたりには書道の本や画材（絵の道具）を売るお店も多くて、書道のイベントも行っているそうです。
There are also many shops around here that sell calligraphy books and art supplies, and I’ve heard that they host caligraphy events as well

さらに、昔ながらの街並みが残っていて、ローカルなグルメも楽しめます。
私もお散歩の途中で熱々の小籠包（ショウロンポウ）を食べて、のんびりとした時間を過ごしました。
the area still has traditional street, and you can enjoy local food as well.
I also had some steaming hot xiaolongbao during a walk, and spent a relaxing time.
中国の本屋なので、日本の本なんて売ってないと思っていたのですが、やはり日本のアニメ文化はすごいですね。中国の方にも大人気です。今は、スパイファミリーの本など最新の漫画も中国語版で売られています。
Since it’s a bookstore in China, I didn’t expect to find japanese books,but the infuluence of japanese anime culture is incredible. It’s very popular here in china as well. Nowadays, even the latest manga, like spyFamily,is sold in Chinese versions
